A motorcyclist was injured after a collision with a car yesterday evening. Police sealed off part of Croxteth Drive in Toxteth at around 7.10pm, close to its junction with Ullet Road, following the accident. Paramedics from the Northwest Ambulance Service arrived to give treatment to the Yamaha 125 rider who is believed to have been a Deliveroo delivery man. His injuries were described as ‘non-life threatening’ by a Merseyside police spokeswoman.

A Chevrolet Spark car was also involved in the smash which is being investigated by officers. Witnesses said a section of road was cordoned off close to Aigburth Drive and Sefton Park Road during the evening as police began their investigations into the crash.

No arrests were made & the car driver is not thought to have been hurt.
